Two people were killed in a crash involving a vehicle driven by an Irishman who was visiting the United States, authorities said Thursday.
The crash occurred at about 4 p.m.
Thursday in the town of Ocala, Fla.
Two people died in the crash, authorities in Ocara said in a news release.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver of the SUV was in custody.
It wasn’t immediately clear if he was a U.S. citizen or not.
The driver of a SUV that was traveling southbound on I-95, when it lost control and hit a light pole, killing two people, authorities told The Associated Press in a statement.
The two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, the statement said.
