The latest jobs data to hit the media…

Posted June 23, 2018 13:25:52 The latest employment figures to hit Australia’s headlines will show a huge increase in the number of workers with driver’s licences.

Key points: The numbers of drivers’ licences issued and those who have them up for renewal have fallen since the early 1980s, the Bureau of Statistics says The Bureau of Statistic’s latest employment statistics show the number has dropped by more than a quarter since 1980, but it’s still far from enough to account for the nation’s unemployment rate.

More than three million Australians have a driver’s licence, compared with about 8 per cent in 2011.

The numbers have also been falling across the country, with the number falling by nearly a quarter in the state of Western Australia.

In NSW, the number fell by 3.4 per cent from 2011 to 2016.

Bureau of Statistics data shows the number is at an all-time low of 4.2 million in Queensland.

However, it’s the figures for Queensland and the ACT that have caught the media’s attention.

Queensland has seen a dramatic drop in the proportion of people with a driver licence, dropping from 40.1 per cent to just 14.3 per cent.

ACT has also seen a massive drop in licence holders, with more than half of all the new licence holders having a licence, according to the latest ABS data.

But it’s WA, where a recent report by the Victorian Government said that more than two-thirds of all new licence-holders had not received a driving licence.

It has been estimated that more people are getting a licence in WA than any other state in the country.

As of April, WA had a population of more than 5.5 million.

WA is also home to one of the lowest levels of unemployment in the nation.

“We’re getting more people onto the roads and that’s why our job numbers are growing and the rate of unemployment is dropping,” said Labor MP David Shoebridge.

What’s the difference between driving and driving for a living?

The most common jobs for people with drivers licences are: driving for hire, driving for commercial purposes, driving at night, driving on public transport, or doing a combination of both.

A few states and territories, such as New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, have more than one type of licence.

The majority of Australian drivers’ licenses issued are for the purposes of commercial purposes.

For example, a person who has a driving permit in the Western Australian state of New South Walsall would be eligible for a commercial licence.
